Although the market has shifted somewhat with fewer multiple-offer situations, we are selling properties quickly for excellent prices. We recently had the highest sale for a single-family home in Mahone Bay. We are very proud of that.
So, what does the future hold for this area? South Shore remains the destination for many people moving here from Halifax, Ontario and other parts of the country. While other brokerages and agents are seeing a slowdown in their business, we are pleased to say our business is still growing, and we are on track to exceed our numbers from 2022 and have our best year ever in 2023. Why is that? I believe many factors are contributing, but we have created a Home Selling System that we are continually upgrading and refining to make sure that as a home seller, you get not only a high level of service but a marketing system that is second to none and the results are usually very positive. The results speak for themselves. In the past 12 months, we have seen increases in our average sale price, number of listings sold, and increased market share. September and October and into November are often the peak time of the year for real Estate sales. People are coming back from vacation and ready to buy. Also, people want to buy before interest rates are going up. So now is a fantastic time to get your house listed and on the market.
